EX/CX Strategic Edge, LLC was founded in 2020 by Ed Murphy. Ed has had a successful career providing insights, developing strategies, and providing innovative solutions to client’s complex business needs. With over thirty years of experience as a global management consultant, Ed brings expertise and passion to every assignment.
Prior to launching EX/CX Strategic Edge, Ed was a Principal at Strativity Group, a top 5 CX strategy consulting firm as rated by Forrester Research. During his tenure with Strativity, Ed served several leadership roles including CX Consultant, Head of Research, and Chief Operating Officer. As a Strativity Principal, he built the Measurements, Metric, and Insights division, led global customer experience programs, and developed several service offerings.
Ed has a deep background in consumer insights having founded and managed New Age Consumer Insights & Analytics, a research and consulting firm from 2009 to 2011, as well as serving 16 years over two tenures at Synovate (now IPSOS), with his last role being Senior Vice President, US Retail and Restaurant Practice.
Ed has also authored several articles on Journey Mapping, Experience Touchpoint Prioritization, Key Driver Analysis, and Employee Engagement.
